onedotzero is an international moving image and digital arts organisation which commissions, showcases and promotes innovation across all aspects of moving image, digital and interactive arts. It is a similar project to the one I am proposing Warp set up, only Warp Optics will be more community based (votes) rather than being governed by a single body. The key points with Warp Optics is the showcasing of new talent and using the submitted work to promote Warp's artists via video podcast. The Warp Optics project could even be expanded into a annual showcase; much like onedotzero, only with Warp artists also. Anywho... if you're into motion graphics, these are the guys to investigate. They take submissions and showcase work in their annual motion festival - onedotzero_adventures in motion. I've caught a few of their showcases at various music festivals over the years and can highly recommend them.
