I spotted the below images by Gottlieb Soland in a Swiss graphic design book but since looking into him on the internet they appear to be the only two lasting / most famous designs of his.
The first is a little too futurist for Jazz but the use of colour, or lack of, is something I want to persevere with in my own designs.
This poster from 1948 made me laugh as it is very similar to a flyer I designed for a friend, only it was made 62 years earlier. Damn those pesky Swiss! Beautifully simple design with a nice grid.
