Jaga Jazzist Pixel Artwork

Artwork for the experiment Norwegian Jazz outfit Jaga Jazzist designed by The Metric System. Directly linked to my London Jazz festival brief. As you'll see on my design practice blog I tested heavily pixelating my photos of Jazz musicians and really like the effect. Not too applicable for Jazz (although this is a Jazz album) but it could be worth bearing in mind for my club promotion brief as it'll be dealing with experimental music and abstract graphics. I love the pattern used to generate the pixel effect, it's like my Jazz brief only more sophisticated. The layout is also very inspirational and experimental, complimenting the pattern.
