I popped down to the BA (Hons) Photography dept. earlier today to ask if they knew of any student that might have photos of Jazz bands. Unfortunately not. But they did provide me with a name of a photographer called Terry Cryer. He is a photographer that used to hang out at the 100 Club in London during the 50's and 60's. Renowned for his Jazz photos of the period, documenting British Jazz artists. I looked on his website but the photos are really small and compressed for web. I've emailed him requesting permission to use his some of his photos and whether he could send me any.
