OK-RM

OK-RM are a London based design agency that produce a lot of large format poster/flyers. Perfect for contextual research and inspiration for the LCA newsletter brief. In my head I imagines black + one colour printed on a large format cheap uncoated stock (keeping costs down). This seems to be the practice that OK-RM employ.
Folding off-centre can add intrigue to a piece of work and make it more inviting to open:
Interesting use of the grid - double width columns at the top with the fold dividing the grid:
Obvious use of the grid system over an image.
This piece of work for the Barbican Gallery shows how effective a simple one colour print and interesting format can be.
Two colour.
As the newsletter has to contain 10 - 12 stories of varying length the use of a grid will be very important to help organise information for this brief.
