Emory Douglas worked as the Minister of Culture for the Black Panther Party. His work, like the punk zine work, has an extremely do it yourself aesthetic, often created using xerox machines and collage. The simple colour schemes and extremely bold images have made him an legendary icon in not only the art world but in civil rights circles throughout the world.
