Village Green - Marc Ronson Album

When looking at Jamie Reid's decollage approach it reminded me of the art direction for the Mark Ronson album Version. I've managed to find out that it was designed by Village Green. All of the posters were actually printed full scale, then pasted up and torn apart and re photographed to create a visual language for he campaign. What a great idea. For ages I wondered if this was done on computer but it's even more brilliant to find out that it was done by hand. What a nice idea. Again, the approach is reminiscent of the chaos I have found in my approach when tearing and photocopying the Daily Mash articles.
