The epitome of cut & paste and DIY culture the punk zine directly reflects the punk ethos of chaos and anarchy - disregarding any conventional graphic design rules in favor of inexpensive reproduction and low-fi aesthetic. For my Daily Mash image posters I can use the limited colours and the texture caused by the original photocopying the articles to recreate the feel of a zine for the new image posters and use the approach for the Spotify ads and press ads.
